Heads Up! We are making some serious changes to how we are going to do things in 2023.

This year will be our ninth year of Summer Slam. When we started, there weren't a lot of organizations doing the backpack and back-to-school work, but that has really changed in the past decade. Now, any child who wants, could get three or four free backpacks with school supplies. People don't really need this any more.

​

So, in 2023, we are pivoting to back-to-school shoes. Our goal is 1,000 pairs of tennis shoes for our neighborhood kids for school.
