What Did We Do?

Corona Virus rocked everyone's world. While some took it as a directive to stop, slow down or put their work on pause, in organizations like ours, that just doesn't work. We had to serve our community, some of whom were hardest hit by the virus.

"What did you do for Corona Virus?" is going to be one of the most important questions for determining the effectiveness of community organizations for years to come.

Here's what you should know about Micah 6 Community and what we've been up to:

1) We made a commitment to keep our employees working and paid, and secured funding to bring on more employees.

2) We have reduced the rent of our tenants by 50% for the early months of the pandemic.

3) For the first four months of the pandemic, Sprout was 100% free. Since this summer we have kept a wide variety of produce free-of-charge. We continue to partner with local agencies to offer free produce to their clients.
